Not Arnold, he’s cool, but the concept of the terminator movie is silly. The major beef is simple, if robots take over, and can flash back into the past, all they need to do is send a few computers back to the time of early man and snuff them out. Bam, no people. Then the robots create their world fresh without people. Man, I hope cybernetic droids don’t read this and use my idea.
Same thing with the Matrix, awesome movie, ridiculous premise. Machines use people as fuel. Why bother? And why can’t the matrix machines flash back thru time? Isn’t all of life meaningless? We live for a time and then die. And it doesn’t matter. Name every person you can possibly think of and then consider all the people you will never know or care about. Then wrap your head around all the people who will never know or care about you. Why should oceans have any care for the individual drops? we are a sea of people that rise and fall like rain and for what?
Many people will say there is life after death. But same thing then. For what? And who cares? Now you are a particle of dust in a universe expanding infinitely thru time and space. What difference do you make? What possible trail could you leave that would matter measured against infinite existence.
